Lovely Bonheur du Jour NAPOLEON III transitional style Louis XV - Louis XVI in blackened pear decorated with numerous inlays of foliage and brass nets. It opens with 2 small doors adorned with painted porcelain medallions decorated with gallant scenes and surrounded by a bronze molding with a knot motif, 2 small drawers and 1 large drawer in the belt which, when open, supports the sheathed worktop of black leather that unfolds. (Leather changed) It rests on 4 curved legs adorned with falls and bronze moldings and finished with bronze clogs. The interiors are mahogany. Rich bronze ornamentations: openwork gallery, moldings, falls, keyholes and clogs...
