China, 19th century or earlier, very pretty wooden statue representing Chao Kung Ming, the Taoist god of wealth, in his military form, in a martial posture. He is dressed in armor and seated on a throne. He holds an ingot in his left hand. Chao Kung Ming is surrounded by his attributes, the lion on which he places his right foot and the dragon whose head appears next to his left foot. The scale witness on the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a well-known brand. Good condition except for some visible lacks and slight normal wear and without impact.
