"Library Of Parquet In Mahogany From Cuba, Louis XVI Style - Late Nineteenth"
Bookcase in solid and veneered Cuban mahogany, Louis XVI style, richly furnished with brass. It opens with two doors made up, on 3/4 of their surfaces, of windows underlined by brass rods with Doucine forming frames. Identical ornaments delimit the two solid parts of these doors which are each surmounted by two projecting rectangular panels. These are lined with quarter-round brass rods. The interior, in Maple Veneer, offers four 37 cm deep shelves, as well as two narrower ones. Their molded edges are in Mahogany and all are placed on racks and therefore adjustable as desired over a total storage height of 228 cm. The right door has a lock in working order with top and bottom hooking points and the cabinet is supplied with its key. The amounts in Pilasters of this Showcase are knocked out in the lower part and embellished with two times three grooves on the rest of their height, again lined with brass. This precious, ubiquitous alloy also embellishes the Cornice, the plinth, the joint cover or even the sides of this Library. Note also the quality of its design, since the side panels are perfectly aligned with those of the facades. Elegant, Charming with its many brass attributes, this display or storage unit can be completely dismantled using a simple system of reminder screws.
