"Small Inlaid Buffet - XIXth"
Small Louis XV-Louis XVI Transition style inlaid sideboard in Fruitwood. Its top is covered with an original red marble from the Pyrenees molded with Corbin beak. It opens to a belt drawer with 2 laurel wreath handles and an original central lock. The bottom of the drawer is in Fir and the sides in Oak. Below, it also opens, with 2 inlaid doors decorated with the "Louis XVI vase" adorned with 3 flowers, on a frieze fruitwood background. All framed with boxwood and ebony fillets. The interior is lined with a single shelf resting on fixed cleats. The oak back is paneled and rests on 4 cut-out, arched legs.
Period: Second half of the 19th century.
Perfect condition after restoration, stripping and waxed patina in our workshop.
