"Chest Of Drawers In Walnut, Louis XVI Period - 2nd Part XVIII"
Chest of drawers from the Louis XVI period, in solid Walnut on its front and sides. Its top is a splendid Original Belgian Sainte Anne Marble, gray in color, following the lines of the Furniture. The belt, delimited by a Molding, is composed of three drawers, one of which is wider in the center. Below, there are two larger drawers, arranged in two rows, themselves separated by a simple crosspiece. Each of these two drawers is equipped with two carved pull handles, and the five openings of this chest of drawers are equipped with keyholes in working order. These Bronze fittings are all Original and the Cabinet is supplied with its five keys. Different woods have been chosen for the interior of the drawers: the sides are in Beech, the bottoms in Oak, and you can find, under each of them, so-called “dust-proof” bottoms. This chest of drawers is flanked by four fluted and protruding uprights. Those on the front are rounded to 3/4. The set rests on four Turned feet called "Toupie", decorated with Sabots, and Brass Crowns on those of the front. This Elegant Chest of Drawers exudes a certain Warmth from its Wood, and features an Elaborate Bronze and Quality dressing.
