Louis XVI Cylinder Desk In Eighteenth Mahogany

Cylinder desk in mahogany and speckled mahogany with boxwood fillets. It has a tier closing with 2 curtains and revealing small lockers and 2 drawers, then a cylinder revealing 4 drawers and a shelf that activates its opening and finally 4 drawers in two rows in the belt. The tablet is sheathed in antique black leather. It measures 76cm X 36cm and is 73cm from the ground. It rests on sheath feet with simulated fluting and finished with bronze sabots. Knobs and keyholes in bronze and brass. Back and bottom of drawers in oak.

Louis XVI period - 18th century.

Very good condition after restoration, stripping and waxed patina in our workshop. Locks and keys in working order.
