"Louis XV Slope Office All Faces - XVIIIth"
Louis XV sloping desk all sides in Mahogany veneer inlaid with foliage. The box is curved on its sides and its top with a central flattened area. It opens with a flap cut out in turbulent shapes and inlaid with diamond framed scrollwork. The interior is composed of 4 drawers with curved fronts framing 2 central niches under an upper niche occupying the entire width. The interior of the flap is covered with an old green leather, posterior to the piece of furniture. It also opens with 2 belt drawers, lockable, whose interiors and bottoms are in oak. It rests on 4 curved legs adorned with discreet bronze elements in the lower part.
Period: Louis XV - 1760.
Perfect condition after restoration, stripping and varnished finish on a hard bottom in our workshop.
