Each piece has a silversmith's mark (worn) and a silver grammage mark.
This magnificent work can be attributed to the goldsmith Armand Frénais, we can see on some pieces the square punch with the initials of the goldsmith and a shape like an anchor.

Armand Frénais owned a goldsmith and cutlery located at 65 boulevard Richard Lenoir Paris XIth, from 1877 to 1927.
He specialized in the sale of silver items, in extra white metal that could go in the fire without alteration.
At the factory, a special workshop was dedicated solely to the re-silvering of English metal, as well as to the repair of all goldsmith's items.
