"Ritual Axe, Dan-guéré"
Ax whose handle is made of wood covered with studded strips of aluminium, brass and copper. The brass blade is perforated. A vegetable resin is embedded and reinforced by gluing certain strips.
This type of ax was used during certain ceremonies.

Probably Dan-Guéré people, Ivory Coast or Liberia
