Mirror with pediment and glazing beads in wood and gilded stucco in imitation of bamboo. Ornaments of vine branches. The central silver mirror, in medallion, is bevelled. This one is slightly stitched at the bottom but contributes to the charm of the object. On the reverse its old spruce lath parquet. This mirror from the Napoleon III period, of Sino-Japanese inspiration, very fashionable at that time, was launched by Empress Eugénie and remains very trendy. Leaf gilding, some usual restorations.
