"Keyaki Tansu - Japanese Choba Dansu Storage Cabinet, (edo Era)"
Traditional Japanese storage cabinet (traditional old Tansu) in precious keyaki wood (zelcona serrata), consisting of a large drawer over its entire width with key clasp and its beautiful original ironwork. The lower part is composed of two sliding doors with ironwork, revealing four drawers on the left part, and two drawers on the right part. the sides of the furniture have handles allowing the Japanese at the time to move the furniture easily in the event of a fire. These side handles are of two types, a smaller one to help move the furniture by hand, a longer one to be able to position a transport bar and carry the furniture on the shoulder.
