Rocaille Louis XV gilt mirror. The originality of this wooden and gilded stucco mirror lies in its shape, which is itself Rocaille. The contours are scalloped, embellished with shells, acanthus leaves and floral branches. The decor encroaches on the surface of the mirror in the principle of perforated screens. The mercury mirror without depigmentation. The back is parqueted in fir. Late 18th-early 19th century work having preserved its beautiful original gilding.
