"Fireback With Phoenix Decoration Cast In The 17th Century (97x85 Cm)"
Fireback with phoenix decoration melted in the 17th century, symbol of eternity and rebirth, the phoenix on its stake comes back to life, hence its motto "FLAMES ARE FLOWERS OR I RETURN MY LIFE", its bottom is decorated with foliage and a frieze of roughened canals frames it. It should be noted a wear and alteration of its frame in the lower part. This plaque was found in Crézilles (Meurthe et Moselle). His weight is 141 kg.
