DELAMARRE Raymond (1890-1986) Two sculpture projects, one representing a pediment, the other a woman holding a fish. The first is brought closer to the fountain of the Roseraie of the Chateau de Bourbon Conti in Soisy sur Seine commissioned by Ferdinand Duprat, the second presents a woman holding a fish, sculpture executed for the water parterre of the house of the industrialist R Didier in Pierreffitte-sur-Seine commissioned by the architect Ferdinand Duprat. Ink and heightened white gouache on tracing paper laid down on cardboard - Charcoal and heightened white on cardboard One signed and dated Déc. 1928 - The other unsigned (tear in two corners for one - bad tears and holes, folds, rolled paper for the other Sheet size: 19.4 x 28.4 cm for one and Dim. 103 x 145 cm for the other Bibliography: - Public Monuments by Raymond Delamarre (1890-1986) doctoral thesis - Beatrice Haurie Vol I and II - 2012 - Gardens today - F.Duprat - 1932 Note: Student of Jules Coutan at the School of Fine Arts in Paris He participated in the International Exhibitions of 1925, 1931 and 1937, as well as in the decoration of the liner Normandy with a bas-relief, Les Arts et Monuments régional (1935). Boulogne-Billancourt's 1930s museum and the Elbeuf museum hold several of his works.An exhibition was dedicated to him in 2007 by the Taylor Foundation in Paris, of which he was president.
