Beautiful fireside chair / chair with high back in carved mahogany and mahogany veneer, from the Napoleon III period. Our fireside chair has very beautiful woodwork, the top of the backrest is very nicely carved with a decoration of rosebuds and foliage, the uprights are finished with fine spinning tops. The front legs of the seat are on casters. The upholstery is in very good condition, the seat is firm. Very elegant satin covering fabric in anise green tones, embellished with a floral decoration reminiscent of seat sculptures. Very good general condition, an old restoration in the sculpture. Note, a slight and discreet trace on the fabric of the seat (see photo)
