Louis XV style chest of drawers in red Chinese lacquer and decorated with life scenes on the front and flower vases with birds on the sides. It is a formal chest of drawers for a living room. It opens with 2 drawers without crosspieces with a very nice movement of the bottom drawer. Beautiful ornamentation of gilded bronzes, (falls, handles, keyhole and end of the lamp) The red and bronze lacquer is of very good quality with thicknesses, cracks and reflections. Chests of drawers in red lacquer give a lot of shape to the decoration and are still rare on the market. It is topped with a marble "brèche d'Alep" with double throat and ears.
