Superb art nouveau porcelain pot by the sculptor Som-Charles Guénardeau, produced by the Susse Frères house in Paris, late 19th century, early 20th century.This typical Art Nouveau porcelain pot represents a pinecone. The handles are in the shape of branches. The shoulders form a tuft of pine needles and branches meeting on the belly on which a couple of Parakeets are perched. The lid also comes with pine decor.
A superb cover with brilliant reflections of honey colors and brown tones.
A micro chip on the foot visible on one of the photos as well as on the inside edge of the lid.
This is not visible once the lid is placed on the pot.
