"Pair Of Candlesticks "
Pair of candlesticks in gilded bronze and black patina Charles X Period Early XIXth. The shafts formed by inverted putti are decorated with gilt bronze flowers, the putti holding a wreath of water flowers in one hand, the other hand supporting the gilt bronze binets finely chiselled with acanthus leaves and flowers . The putti are standing on a sphere entwined by a snake and surrounded by a frieze of water flowers. They end with a molded circular base richly carved with griffins, lyres and flowers. Double patina gilding and original patina cleaned by our workshop, in very good condition. Original model of remarkable quality from the Charles X period.
