Painting, oil on panel, representing a view of the church of Morcote in Switzerland, canton of Ticino.
View of the entrance to the park of the church and its bell tower. Signed lower left C. Felber. Annotated on the back in pencil: “Morcote cimetero et campanile”.
Carl Friedrich Felber (1880-1932), painter of landscapes, urban landscapes, draftsman. He studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Carlsruhe but also at the Julian Academy in Paris, at the Hollosy School in Munich.
He exhibited from 1906 at the Munich Ice Palace but also at the salon of the National Society of Fine Arts in Paris.
He is a member of the association of Swiss graphic designers “Die Walze” with Paul Klee.
