"Mahogany Console, Empire Period - Early Nineteenth"
Veneered Mahogany Console, with Rectangular Top in Gray Veined White Marble, 2.5 cm thick. It presents a belt drawer veneered with Mahogany Burl, opening with the help of two discreet notches located below. The interior of this drawer assembled in Dovetails is in Walnut. This Furniture consists of two Mahogany Columns at the front, with Balls in the upper parts, and resting on two Cylindrical feet with Collars. Each of these pillars is embellished with two Finely chiseled Bronze Rings. The rear pillars are flat and straight. The whole is stabilized by a curved base on the front. Essential element to perfect a Chic and Classic Decoration, this Console will be appreciated for its Pretty Bramble designs, as well as for its Graceful Columns.
