"Small Working Table, Charles X Period - Early 19th Century"
Magnificent work table with a Rio rosewood veneer top and a cove molding around its edge. Going inward, two lemonwood fillets frame a band of mitred rosewood. In the center, a panel composed of a tangle of scrolls, foliage and flowers. The lid opens, held in the right part by a brass compass. In its center, a rectangular mirror is surrounded by a lemon stick followed by a mitred rosewood frame with lemon fillet. The interior part of this worker has a large light wood compartment accompanied by two identical smaller ones. The flap closes with an original lock in perfect working order accompanied by its key. The front of this unique piece of furniture is decorated with rosewood inlays repeating the patterns on the top. The belt of this worker has a drawer made of lemon tree. On the right side of the body, we find a drawer pulling in the form of a hopper with a rosewood top. This small table is supported by four turned legs in solid rosewood inlaid with nets and flanges in lemon tree. This bicentenary Worker in perfect condition will seduce you with its ornamentation and elegance.
