Credenza Cabinet Renaissance Taste - XIXth

Property credenza cabinet in the Renaissance style in richly carved solid Walnut. It opens in the upper part by 2 doors carved with foliage, characters and various fruits and closing with key and interior latch. The interior is composed of 2 non-separate and adjustable shelves, placed on cleats on racks. Below, it opens to a large drawer mounted with dovetails; it is carved with foliage and fruit decorations with a central angel and has 2 worked handles. As for the lower part, it rests on 2 front uprights cut and sculpted with chimeras and character masks as well as on a back panel sculpted with character masks and foliage. The sides are paneled, carved and molded and the back is paneled. The piece of furniture can be dismantled into 2 high and low parts. The interior and the back are in Oak and Chestnut.

Period: Second half of the 19th century.

Perfect condition after restoration, stripping and waxed patina in our workshop.
