"Important Louis XV Console With 4 Legs - XIXth"
Important Louis XV Regency style castle console in solid walnut. Its 3.5 cm thick Brèche du Tholonet marble top is cut into animated shapes and molded in groove and beak of corbin. Its belt is richly carved with gadrooned leaves and floral motifs. It rests on 4 strongly curved, sculpted and molded legs, connected by a cross brace whose center is adorned with a gadrooned sculpture.

Period: Early 19th century.

Perfect condition after restoration, stripping and waxed patina in our workshop.
