The Arcadian description of the landscape leads us to the production of the studio of Francesco Zuccarelli, who after having worked in Florence for Paolo Anesi, from whom he assimilated a remarkable technique, settled in Venice, and here completed his career as an extraordinary rococo landscape painter. .
His painting, like that of his Venetian contemporaries Canaletto, Giuseppe Zais and Antonio Diziani, is particularly appreciated abroad, especially by English collectors who have come to Italy.
