Charming 18th Century Box In Enamelled Copper With Painted Decor Of A Gallant Scene And Architectures

Charming 18th century box in enamelled copper; on the lid we can discover a decor of a gallant scene where we see two characters, a young man seems busy seducing his young lady by playing a little romantic tune with his lute.
The scene takes place at the edge of a pond against a background of a wooded park embellished with columnar architecture surmounted by a monumental vase.
The scenery of various landscapes with fantasy architectures, lakes, boats and characters occupy all the sides of this pretty old box.
It is a beautiful witness object of the Enlightenment but which nevertheless presents the stigmata of the pangs of time even of it remains a beautiful "document" of this time.
Chips of enamel and cracks of this one are to report as well as lacks on the lid (please look at the photos please in order to get a precise idea of the state of the object).
