ORIGINAL EDITION of the preface by Jules Romains and FIRST PRINT of the 10 PLATES by the French painter, engraver and illustrator Jean AUSCHER (1880-1950). Taking an interest in the second half of the 1920s in the milieus of gaming circles, Jean Auscher described this world in "Le Baccara", self-published. The print run is limited to 549 COPIES, this one ONE of the 422 on Arches. . This collection is RARE and it is also dedicated on the cover page by Jules Romain.
