"Cardinal Box, Walnut Crest Box And Inlays."
Interesting box called "cardinal" in walnut decorated with an inlaid pattern on the top. Red interior, in lacquered wood and carved with an inflamed heart. Original closing system: a small wooden head is stuck on a small brass tab, inside the box. On the reverse inscriptions engraved in German: Werkstatte H Widerin, Baittal / Drau-Karnten, Mustergesch. Period late nineteenth / early twentieth century. Good condition, original patina.
