Germain Fabius Brest ( 1823 - 1900) Gondolas In Front Of The Bridge Of Sighs In Venice

The monumental painting of Venice with a view in front of the Bridge of Sighs was executed in 1874 by the very renowned and highly rated French painter Gemain Fabius Brest (1823 Marseille - 1900 Marseille). A small study entirely identical (18.5 cm x 15.0 cm) to our painting was represented for sale at the auction house Rieunier & Associés SARL, Paris on 19.03.2012.
