Large Market Scene in a Town with the Majority of Different Folk Types was executed in 1842 by the famous German - French genre and landscape painter Ferdinand Marohn (or Maron or Maronnio), the artist born in Grandsee, Brandenburg/Germany, he participated in 1839/1842 in the exhibitions of the Berlin Academy, since 1846 lives in Paris and until 1859 exhibits regularly at the Paris Salon. Paintings by him located in the museums of Potsdam, Reims and Ajaccio.
