"Sauteuse Commode Louis XV - Louis XVI XVIIIth"
Chest of drawers, sauteuse, Transition Louis XV-Louis XVI in mahogany, amaranth and walnut veneer (for the sides) with fillets of rosewood and tinted wood. The interiors and the bottom are in fir. Its top is in Portor marble - black with ocher veins, this rare marble has been mined in Italy (on the coast of Genoa) since antiquity, and reserved for the most sumptuous furniture - It opens with 2 drawers furnished with keyholes and bronze pull rings in the Louis XVI style and rests on 4 arched feet, those at the front finished with bronze shoes. The cut sides are decorated with falls with rams' heads. It was varnished with a buffer.
