It also has two doors made up of heart cherry panels and a mitred frame underlined by moldings. The doors meet without a pilaster. They are embellished with two brass entrances, the lock and the key are original and in working order. The interior of this period sideboard offers storage space with a solid shelf. The straight uprights end with a foot covering in the Directoire style, joined by a simple low crosspiece. The sides, paneled, have a shallow depth. The wide, smooth top features a mitred bezel.
