"Two Posters 70x96 Cm Electoral Propaganda Civic Committees Italy April 1948"
The two posters are not separated but are glued, front and back on a thin canvas. These are electoral propaganda posters from 1948 commissioned by the civic committees set up by Luigi Gedda in the name of Pope SS Pius XII, aimed at the civic mobilization of Catholics in Italy with a strong anti-communist orientation and not only: as we can see it in one of the 2 posters, the Christian worker tramples both communism and capitalism. On April 18, 1948 the Italians, for the first time, after the entry into force of the Constitution, were called upon to elect their representatives to the Parliament of their first Republic.
