Antique Bronze And Gadrooned Copper Basin, Turkmenistan, 18th-19th Century

Beautiful old basin decorated with twenty-nine gadroons and surrounded by a rim engraved with two friezes of stylized arrowheads, called "médahils" (We have on Proantic another basin, in bronze, larger but in the same style, dated from 1143 in Turkish numerals, i.e. 1788 from our calendar, 18th century, and signed around the date the set is in a bronze and copper alloy and is in good used condition and adorned with a rare beautiful patina.
