Title: Fountain of Hauts-Balès in Argonne, a label on the back of the painting contains this information and dates the canvas in autumn 1922. Dimensions: 60 x 73 cm. Wooden frame. By the same painter, a painting representing a stream in autumn at Jâlons-les-Vignes, painted in 1911 by Amaury Thierot, was purchased from the artist by the town of Châlons in Champagne in 1913 for the collection of the municipal museum of fine arts. .
