Shotgun with juxtaposed round barrels, with long side flats with thunderbolts, tobacco finish, richly decorated with gold trophy arms, flowers, vases in the antique style, foliage and rings.
Silver barley grain focus arranged in the center of a radiant sun. Signed on the top in gold: "LEPAGE A PARIS" Thunder stamps on each of the barrels: JR crowned in an oval.
Screwed breech tail, fully engraved.
Iron flintlock locks with curved bodies, underlined on all the circumference, marked "Le Page à Paris" on the two faces. Round iron hound "with swan neck". Oval iron baskets, with gold bottoms, with pare étincelles, springs of batteries with roller. Lights with gold.
Walnut frame with short molded and carved shaft. Carved cheek stock with a lion's head on a finely squared background. Trace of a fine groove in the wood cutting. Iron fittings, chiseled and engraved. Original leather cushion surrounded by a riveted silver rod.
Guard cut out in the shape of an antique flaming vase, trigger guard decorated with an acanthus leaf. Iron butt plate, slightly engraved. Whalebone ramrod with bone head.
The inside of the locks, the breech tail and the frame, is marked "584" and "1802".
Very nice condition.
