"Bonheur Du Jour Cylinder Louis XVI - XVIIIth"
Bonheur du jour Louis XVI cylinder and step in solid Cuban mahogany and mahogany veneer. Its white marble top with its wear marks is surrounded by an openwork brass gallery. The upper part opens with two small glass doors that lock with a key giving access to the interior to a fixed shelf. In the middle part, the cylinder which locks with key, opens onto an interior composed of a niche in the upper part, two drawers below and a retractable shelf covered with old apricot-colored leather. Below, two lockable drawers are adorned with a simple frame. All the locks are old and the keys changed. It rests on 4 turned and sheathed legs ending in discreet bronze clogs.
Period: 18th century. Perfect condition after restoration, stripping and waxed patina in our workshop.
