Roger CAPRON (1922-2006)
He studied drawing at the School of Applied Arts in Paris then in 1946, he moved to Vallauris after discovering ceramics and decided to devote himself to this medium. In 1852, he bought a disused pottery there and opened a shop and began to produce objects and panels; three years later, he began making pieces for the table. during the 1960s, he made several collaborations with Jean Michel Carré and Derval. IN 1982, he had to sell his factory, Ets. Carré takes it over, at the same time he continues to work in his studio, to collaborate and to produce with his wife Jacotte.
Several awards: gold medal at the X Triennale in Milan in 1954 silver medal at the international exhibition in Cannes in 1955 gold medal in Brussels in 1959. international grand prize for ceramics in 1970
