Louis XIV period Paperolles reliquary - In its period frame This technique is based on rolling up strips of paper to form various decorations, which are glued by the edge to a support to form a three-dimensional subject. Practiced during the Renaissance by poor organizations to worship God, embellish sacred messages and thus promote their beliefs.
