Rare and old photo frame (or miniature portrait painting) in the Empire style (ca 1850), in the style of the House of Carl Fabergé goldsmith. The square-shaped frame is made of ormolu gilded brass chiseled with great precision and quality. It is surmounted by an imperial eagle looking to the right, holding lightning and laurel, recalling the emblem of Napoleon Bonaparte. Cornucopias, garlands, palmettes...
