Post-Impressionism still life was e executed by listed French painter, ceramic painter and glass window designerCamille Fleury (1914 - Paris - after 1963). Studied in Paris at the Ecole Nat. Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs under Raymond Legueult (also ceramics and stained glass); 1941 founder and teacher of the Ecole of the Métiers d ´ art. Extracts: 1951 Grand Prix de la Peinture; Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres; Chevalier de l ´ Ordre des Palmes Acad.; 1963 Pres. The Soc. Nat. of BA. – Payer. Public. Orders, including glass windows, for the church Cous-la-Grand-Ville (1952); The Dominican Monastery of Mortefontaine (1953); The Eglise de la Madeleine in Nantes (1955); The churches of St-Gohard in Saint-Nazaire (1957); The churches in Bretteville/Manche (1958) and Treignac as well as for Notre-Dame du Port in Clermont-Ferrand; For the Chapel of the School of the Lazaristes of Saint-Chamond. Further decorations: entrance hall of the Collège de Périgueux (1962), entrance area of the collège of Savigny-sur-Orge. Also designs for carpets of the Château de Carcassonne and pottery vases of Sèvres manufacture. – Fleury‘s painting is classical-academically with emphasis on drawing.
