Important Earthenware Vase, Earthenware De Fives Lille - Early Twentieth

Important Earthenware Vase stamped by De Bruyn, a renowned earthenware factory in the Fives district of Lille, from 1864 until its closure in 1950. This ceramic decorated with butterflies and thistles, bearing the reference "n° 3185 BIS", has been produced in different colors. This has a midnight blue background, while the pretty decorations in relief, as well as the handles reminiscent of a chrysalis, feature a shaded water green tone. This Vase of substantial dimensions, a vestige of French know-how that has now disappeared, will please with its deep colors and harmonious ornaments.
