Circa 1950 South Tunisia Beautiful Berber ceremonial headdress with sequin embroidery and golden chenillettes mounted on rigid cardboard. Interesting drum shape decorated with a bird of paradise on the side. Interior lining in yellow cotton sateen. Beautiful object of Berber ethnology collected in Matmata. Rare missing sequins and deformation of the cardboard in places. Charm of lacunar golden threads on the side. Stable object however with shiny golden sequins and not oxidized. Good general condition despite these small defects, "in its own juice". Dimensions: Drum height 5 cm, Diameter 16 cm, front height 15 cm.
