"Statue "putali", Stone, Népal"
Village or household protection statue representing a crouching figure, hands joined in a traditional posture. The stone is covered with a thick ancient patina of libations and smoke.
These protective statues are called "Putali" and are usually made of wood. Stone ones are much rarer.
