Superb large bed in solid walnut and walnut veneer on oak from the late 19th century. It is Napoleon III style with an early Art Nouveau movement. Rich sculpture on the foot and the headboard, with grotesques, mascarons, acanthus leaves and ivy. The legs are stylized in the style of Art Nouveau, as are the longitudinal crosspieces with a ginkgo biloba motif. The box spring rests on the crosspieces, it is designed for a bed of 140*190 cm.
