Visible at the Courcelles Antiquités Gallery, at 41 rue des Acacias, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. A graduate of the Beaux Arts in Orléans in 2001, Yann Letestu draws inspiration from his many travels such as his crossing of the Atlantic by sail to paint. In his paintings, he then tells us about the nostalgia of the traveler, torn between farewells and the excitement of a new adventure. Another strong element in his work is the uncertainty of the horizon which appears through blurred contours, metaphorizing the uncertainty of our destination. He then painted landscapes that were both familiar and distant, mysterious and misty.
