Amusing and elegant Louis XVI style light stand in mahogany and mahogany veneer. The fluted central barrel is adjustable in height by means of an ingenious clamping system. Presence of two trays: one rectangular, the other circular, both surrounded by an openwork gallery in gilded brass. The circular tray is magnificently worked in sun marquetry. The whole rests on a tripod base. Our pedestal table is electrified but it could also be modified by removing the electrification to find candle lighting. The electrification is recent and in good working order. Two-light lighting. Modern cream-colored lampshades with a few tiny pits. Manufacture from the very beginning of the 20th century
