"Pair Busts Philosophers Writers Molière Descartes Bronze Marble Nineteenth"
Pair of black patina bronze sculptures representing the busts of two French philosophers or writers, most certainly Molière and Descartes, on gray Sainte-Anne marble bases and gilt bronze, from the 19th century. These busts are in good general condition, they are in their juice. A note: the bronze bases will be cleaned, some shocks and deformations on the bases, missing a chain, slight wear and scratches on the busts (see photos (see red arrows).
