"Pair Of Candlesticks In Silver Metal Corinthian Capitals, Late Eighteenth Century"
Pair of silver-plated candlesticks from the Directoire period decorated with Corinthian capitals. Silvering faded in places revealing the metal (copper) underneath. Candlesticks assembled in two shells and important screw thread as the tradition in the XVIII th century. The bobèches seem to be added because they are a little small for the binet. Very late 18th century, early 19th century period. Delivery 18 euros in France, 35 euros in the EU and 60 euros rest of the world.
