"Game Table, Louis XV Period, 18th Century"
Elegant game table in solid cherry wood in an eventful Louis XV shape. Its top is decorated with a checkerboard inlaid with amaranth and satinwood framed on either side by two reserves receiving a lozenge decoration.The table opens with a drawer in front and unfolds in a shutter resting on the base, revealing a top covered with green felt. The table rests on four curved legs whose edge is highlighted with a contrasting net.
Louis XV period, 18th century.
Beautiful piece of furniture of great simplicity, however, presenting several sophisticated details such as diamond ornaments or contrasting fillets emphasizing the edges. It presents a good state of integrity with the patina consecutive to its age that it was chosen to keep.
