"Narcissus, Bronze With Archaeological Patina"
Narcissus is a character from Greek mythology, a young hunter, famous for his beauty. Son of the nymph Liriope and the river god Cefiso (or, according to another version, of Selene and Endymion), in the myth he appears incredibly cruel, as he disdains anyone who loves him. Following a divine punishment, he falls in love with his own image reflected in a body of water and dies by falling into the lake in which he was reflected.Narcissus, bronze with archaeological patina Beautiful bronze casting and very fine carving.
